The USB Flash Drive is also named JetFlash, Pendrive and Thumbdrive. They are generally faster, hold more data, and are considered more reliable (due to their lack of moving parts) than other forms of data storage.

The USB flash drive is NAND-type flash memory data storage devices integrated with a USB interface. Since most modern flash drives have a standard type-A USB 2.0 USB connection this allows them to be connected directly to a port on any personal computer with a USB connection slot.
